Deskripsi Singkat Maka Kuliah:
Mata kuliah ini membahas tentang bagaimana berkomunikasi dalam Bahasa Inggris agar mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara mereka (Speaking Skill). Pelajaran ini diintegrasikan dengan kemampuan mendengar (Listening Skill) dan pengayaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris (vocabulary development), dengan pembagian 25% teori dan selebihnya praktek.

Reading I is focused on improving students’
competencies and skills in English
especially in comprehending reading text. Most
students’ problem in understanding
reading text is due to the lack of vocabularies that limit them to comprehend the English texts.
Thus, it is important to provide them with
strategies and theories in reading skill and texts. Those strategies and theories are given in the form of
theoretical review and practical activities that can help to increase student’s
vocabulary skills that lead to the improving of their reading skills.
