This is our new Spada for INTERPRETING SKILLS 2 (2023)

Due to the unresolved technical issues, we are using this Spada from 24 August 2023 onward. 

Description of the Subject: 

Interpreter's linguistic competence includes the ability to comprehend source language and apply the knowledge to render the message as accurately as possible in the target language; in applicable modes. This interpreting skill is also required the students to to use the research tools and to have the ability to develop suitable strategies for the efficient use of the information sources available.

Learning Outcomes:

The students are able to acknowledge and comprehend the difference between interpreting and translating skills, and requirements needed to be an interpreter or translator.

The students are able to acknowledge and comprehend the differences and the skills needed among types and modes of interpreting.

The students are able to develop their vocabulary size which is a significant factor to be an interpreter.
