Interpreter's linguistic competence includes the ability to comprehend source language and apply the knowledge to render the message as accurately as possible in the target language; in the applicable modes.
This consecutive interpreting skill has also required the students to use the research tools and to have the ability to develop suitable strategies for the efficient use of the information sources available.
